Pastor Rose was born and raised in Colchester, England. He attended the Colchester Royal Grammar School, and then later moved to the United States to attend college and theological school at the Academy of the New Church. He is married to Dinah and has three grown children, Cedric, who lives in Columbia, SC, Stella, who is married to Michael Evans and lives north of Philadelphia, and Matthew, who lives in Cincinnati, OH.

He has served as a minister in the Chicago area, in his hometown of Colchester, England, at the Academy of the New Church north of Philadelphia, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and in July 2002 took up residence in Woodstock, Ga., to serve in the greater Atlanta area.
